I am a currently a postdoctoral researcher working with concurrent EEG-fMRI at 7T for the MRC-funded project ‘Evaluating the role of IL-17A as an orchestrator of peripheral-central cross talk in depressive symptoms’. We will investigate the role of inflammation in modulating reward-based learning in depression. I will also be investigating sources of decision uncertainty in perceptual decision making and the relationship with behavioural and neural signals. My general research interests are in spatial attention and top-down biasing of visual signals, as well as the role of visual imagery in working memory. I use a range of neuroimaging methods including combined TMS-fMRI and EEG-fMRI, with an emphasis on multivariate analysis techniques.
