My research interests focus on Cognitive Neuroscience, with a concentration on multisensory integration and decision making. My current project will use EEG and fMRI to investigate the neurobiology of multisensory decision making, where performance in a perceptual task of one sensory modality is improved when in a multisensory context. My research during my undergraduate and master’s degrees used similar imaging methods to examine increased visual activity following congenital deafness in both humans and Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly).
